Congratulations to Jr Nationals Competitors ! (Dec 2005)

Intermediate Ladies - Erica Luu of the Winterhurst FSC placed 7th in Group 1B. Intermediate Men - Zachariah Szabo of the Strongsville SC placed 2nd in Group 1A, and this qualified him for the final round where he placed 14th. Juvenile Men - Troy Tomasello of the Strongsville SC placed 5th in Group 1C, and this qualified him for the final round where he placed 6th. Juvenile Pairs - Lexi Tulcewicz and Eric Groth of the Winterhurst FSC placed 7th in Group 1A, and this qualified them for the final round where they placed 8th. Juvenile Dance - Meleah Hansen and Nicholas Jesionek of the Strongsville SC placed 5th in Group 1A, and this qualified them for the final round where they placed 17th. Juvenile Dance - Nate Dickey-White of the Shaker FSC and Melissa Petersilge of the Cleveland SC placed 8th in Group 1B and this qualified them for the final round where they placed 18th. 2005 Midwestern Synchro Sectionals (Feb 2005)

The GCCFSC congratulates the Velocity Junior Synchronized Skating Team for earning a berth to the 2005 US Synchronized Team Skating Championships on February 23-26 in Lowell, MA. We also congratulate the Adult Masters Team - North Coast Line for their 3rd place finish, Cleveland Edges in Teen Intro 3rd place, and Youth Intro teams Cleveland SC Ice Reflections 5th place and Cleveland Edges 6th place. 2004 National Showcase (Aug 2004)

Congratulations to the following skaters who were competed at the National Showcase 2004 competition, held August 1-7th at the Dr. Pepper/Star Center in Frisco, Texas. Representing the Cleveland Skating Club: Stephanie Andrica, Catherine Gorman, and Anne Stout; Adrian Graf from the Euclid Blade and Edge FSC; Krista Lange from the Garfield Heights FSC and Emily Grubb from Gilmour Academy FSC. Emily was awarded a Bronze Medal in her Preliminary Dramatic event. Krista earned a Silver Medal in Novice Extemporaneous Improvisation, and Stephanie won a Gold Medal for her PreJuvenile Light Entertainment program, which advanced her to the Final Rounds where she competed with all the other Gold Medalists for National Showcase Champion! Congratulations to all the skaters who qualified for this and were able to attend!

2004 Adult Nationals (Apr 2004)

Congratulations go out to several area skaters that competed in the 2004 US Adult Figure Skating Championships on April 14-17. Eric Schroyer placed 2nd in the Championship Masters Men division and in Championship Adult Dance, Heather Gordon and David Chrien representing the Cleveland SC placed 3rd

Congratulations to North Coast Line (Mar 2004)

Congratulations to the Shaker FSC North Coast Line, Masters Synchronized Adult team for their gold medal performance at the 2004 US Synchronized Team Skating Championships. The Championships took place in San Diego March 3-7, 2004. The USFSA wrote a nice article, Shaken Not Stirred, about the team.
